The Argon series coolers are designed to provide the best cooling solution for your CPU. Available from the 13th November 2013 at an MRSP of $28.08 the Argon AR04 is a super slim profile CPU cooler designed for space limited applications that utilizes LGA 115X platforms. It features two 6mm thick copper heat pipes connect to the base using heat-pipe direct contact (HDC) technology. The custom 80mm fan was designed with fan blades to achieve the highest air pressure possible while maintaining an acoustic profile that is rare for cooler of this size. At a total height of only 23mm tall, the AR04 is likely the best choice and the only choice for slim sized cases utilizing LGA 115X processors.
The Special Features Are:
- Designed for low profile systems at only 23mm tall
- Two Ø6mm heat-pipes and aluminum fins for excellent heat conducting efficiency
- Heat-pipe direct contact (HDC) technology
- Large, custom 80mm fan for excellent cooling and low noise
- For use with CPUs up to 65W
- Support Intel LGA115X processors
Our Thoughts:
At 23mm this cooler does seem to be very impressive but I do wonder if there is any specific use for a cooler THIS small. Would they not be able to make it that bit bigger and get more performance from doing so without making it incompatible with its designed use? Post down in the comment section below letting us know why you think the AR04 needs to be 23mm high and what you would use it for if you had one!
As previously stated the AR04 will be available from November 13th at an MRSP of $28.08, for further information check out Silverstone's product page here.
